Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description This position involves working in a dynamic warehouse setting where the primary duties include receiving materials and storing them appropriately within the warehouse. You will be responsible for pulling orders to build pallets for staging and shipment, and will work off paper pick sheets. Ensuring the accuracy of loads and that they are securely prepared for delivery is crucial. Additional responsibilities may include operating a sit-down forklift to move materials. Responsibilities Receive and store materials within the warehouse. Pull orders to build pallets and stage them for shipment. Work off paper pick sheets to ensure order accuracy. Double check loads for accuracy and secure them thoroughly for delivery. Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials when necessary. Essential Skills Experience in picking, material handling, loading, and general labor. Minimum of 6 months experience in either general labor, construction, warehouse operations, forklift operation, packaging, or shipping. Additional Skills & Qualifications Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently. Building material experience is a plus. Positive attitude and team player. Why Work Here? Gloves are provided to each contractor and steel-toed boots are recommended but not required. The position requires flexibility to work beyond standard hours as needed, with shifts running from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, totaling at least 40 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Brighton, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
