Full Job Description Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate at Durvet, you'll play an important role in delivering products to customers safely, accurately, and efficiently. Team members have opportunities to work in multiple areas throughout our 190,000-square-foot distribution center, performing a variety of hands-on tasks including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and equipment operation. Birthday Leave What You'll Do:
Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately for shipment Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Organize and replenish inventory to support workflow Use RF scanners and warehouse systems with attention to detail Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment following company training and certification Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with other warehouse duties as business needs require
What We're Looking For:
Must be 18 years of age Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to remain on your feet and perform physical work throughout the shift Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Willingness to follow directions and meet productivity expectations Commitment to workplace safety Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment center, shipping and receiving environment, or operating RF scanners or forklifts is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Stand for 8-10 hours per shift Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs Occasionally lift items up to 70 lbs using team lifting techniques or mechanical assistance when appropriate Frequently push, pull, bend, twist, reach, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive movements Read computer screens, labels, written documents, and electronic communications Work in varying warehouse environments, including cooler storage areas Company Overview Durvet, Inc., proud to be named one of Ingram's Best Places to Work, is growing!
