This role requires self-sufficiency, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently on dealership inventory vehicles. Duties Perform automotive repairs including engine work, brake repairs, suspension system repairs, and transmission repairs. Conduct automotive diagnostics using tools such as Identifix and perform electric diagnostics to identify issues accurately. Address specific repair needs such as Ford 3.5 Cam Phasers, GM Lifters, and Head Gasket Repairs. Maintain vehicle safety and performance by executing necessary repairs and adjustments. Order parts and perform price shopping to ensure cost-effective repairs while maintaining quality standards. Work exclusively on dealership inventory vehicles; no outside repair sales are involved. Utilize your own set of tools for all repair work, demonstrating technical proficiency and independence. Stay current with manufacturer updates and repair procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair with a focus on diagnostics, brake systems, suspension systems, and transmission repairs. Familiarity with specific repair procedures such as head gasket repairs, cam phaser replacements, and engine component servicing. Valid MVI license or equivalent certification required. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Strong knowledge of dealership repair standards and procedures. Own comprehensive set of automotive tools necessary for performing detailed repairs.
