Responsibilities:

Quartz and Granite Slab Material Handler

• Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers to move, load, and unload materials
• Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders
• Ensure accuracy in picking and packing by verifying product codes, quantities, and quality
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, clamp trucks, or cherry pickers
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
