The Receiving Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, verification, storage, movement, and distribution of materials throughout the facility. Primary responsibilities include receiving operations, inventory accuracy, material handling, and internal material distribution. Secondary responsibilities include supporting order fulfillment, inventory transactions, and general warehouse operations. Receive, unload, inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments while ensuring accurate quantities, labels, packing slips, and documentation. Perform receiving, inventory, material transfer, and order-related transactions in WMS and ERP systems according to established procedures. Place received stock in designated locations, maintain organized storage areas, and support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution. Safely load, unload, move, stage, pick, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and other warehouse equipment. Deliver materials to production and warehouse locations in a timely manner while maintaining proper material flow and preventing product or equipment damage. Support order fulfillment by picking, packing, staging, and preparing customer and internal orders for outbound shipment. Follow all safety policies, conduct equipment inspections, maintain a clean work environment, and promote accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Certifications, Training & Technical Requirements Valid Forklift Operator Certification required; training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook. Experience using WMS and ERP systems. Ability to complete and maintain required safety and equipment training. Inventory management and cycle count training preferred. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement training preferred. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Professional communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills. 3-5 years of warehouse, receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience. Manufacturing, industrial, metals, or distribution experience. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Regular operation of material handling equipment. Ability to work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
