Warehouse Operator - 2nd
Shift SHIFT:
2nd Shift - 2:00PM to 10:30
PM PAY:
$22.25 plus $1 shift differential In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. warehouse team, supporting the safe and efficient movement, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods. You will gain skills and experience in receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, loading and unloading trailers, and operating warehouse equipment to ensure product is accurately stored and delivered to customers. This role is part of our Omnium business who is a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
  • Receives, stores, moves, and ships materials and finished products safely and accurately
  • Loads and unloads trucks while following all warehouse and safety procedures
  • Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment as trained and authorized
  • Assists with inventory control activities including cycle counts and product tracking
  • Able to multi-task and keep up with operational demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during warehouse operations
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Collaborates and follows the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 1 year or more of work experience in any industry
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Experience:
  • 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or manufacturing experience
  • Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
