Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver goods to customers, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Manage warehouse inventory by moving products within the facility, organizing stock, and maintaining accurate records of shipments. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with all driving regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, addressing questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, packing, and maintaining a clean workspace. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with team members to ensure efficient delivery schedules. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial trucks or box trucks preferred. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles and operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving items safely, and standing or walking for extended periods. Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Experience using mobile devices for navigation and delivery documentation is highly desirable. Ability to adhere to safety protocols related to weight handling in the workplace and the use of material handling equipment.
