Position Summary The Warehouse Support will assist in shipping and receiving for all incoming and outgoing orders. This role includes operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently move products throughout the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded; checks against suppliers' count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department. Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments. Operates forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load, unload, stack, and transport materials. Ensures proper handling and storage of goods using forklift equipment to prevent damage. Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including products returned, damages, and returnable pallets. Maintains shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated, and appropriate billing documents are provided to logistics department as required. Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage. Transports materials on shipping docks with equipment and other vehicles as needed. Conducts daily inspections of forklift equipment and reports any maintenance or safety issues. Responsible for cleanliness and organization of warehouse at all times. Loads and unloads products, ensuring product is packed and not damaged. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Experiences Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received. Basic understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred. Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and work independently.
