WAREHOUSE PARTS WORKER
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Logistics Warehouse Parts Worker. This position will be responsible carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required, associate degree in accounting, business, or finance preferred Prior experience working in a warehouse Knowledge of operating a forklift Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds with assistance Ability to work independently and safely
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving and Processing:
Unload, label, and store incoming stock
Order Preparation:
Pick, pack, wrap. label, and ship orders according to schedule
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Documentation:
Complete logs and reports, and communicate any discrepancies
Lifting:
Carrying heavy items, sometimes up to 50 pounds or more Operating machinery and equipment Bending, stooping, and kneeling to pick up and move products SKILLS Attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Good verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to manage and track inventory
