Job Title:
General Labor -
Small Parts Job Summary:
The General Labor employee is responsible for handling, sorting, and packaging small parts and materials in a manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle and sort small parts and materials. Run a band saw and drill press Count, organize, label, and package parts. Run a forklift Load and unload materials as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Use basic hand tools and production equipment as required. Follow safety procedures and company policies. Meet production, quality, and attendance requirements.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or general labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to handle small parts accurately and efficiently. Good attention to detail. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to perform repetitive work. Reliable and dependable with good attendance. Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift materials as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle small parts. Ability to lift and move materials within the required weight limits. Ability to perform repetitive movements safely.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/production environment with exposure to machinery, small parts, packaging materials, and repetitive production activities. Required personal protective equipment must be worn as directed.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
