The truck Loader/ Shipper is responsible for manually unloading, sorting, stacking, and moving products from inbound and outbound trailers while maintaining safety, productivity, and quality standards. This position requires working in hot trailers, warehouses, and outdoor conditions, performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in ongoing safety training sessions. Keep the workspace clean and organized to prevent hazards. Report unsafe practices, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Product Handling & Organization:
Follow company operating procedures to receive, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations. Assist in a wide variety of warehouse operations that could include but are not limited to packaging, labeling, product folding, floor picking, receiving and preparing shipments for outbound distribution.
Quality Control & Accuracy:
Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues in products received or shipped.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
Operate warehouse equipment such as RF Scan Guns and labeling machines safely and efficiently.
Adaptability & Continuous Improvement:
Contribute ideas to enhance warehouse processes and efficiency. Participate in cross functional activities and projects as needed.
