As a CDL Driver - Roof Loader , you will be responsible for delivering building materials to the job sites and customer warehouses accurately, safely, and on time. This position requires loading and unloading materials, working closely with customers, fellow team members, and supervisors to ensure projects are completed to company standards. It requires patience and steadiness, along with well-defined, detailed work that produces repeatable and consistently accurate results.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the accurate, safe, and on-time delivery of building materials (HVAC, Insulation, Roofing) to industrial and commercial job sites, warehouses, and residential homes Provide quality service and support to our customers Inspect the loaded truck for order accuracy, comply with weight restrictions, and ensure proper securing Work with customers and co-workers Help coordinate deliveries and assist in maintaining inventory levels Work as a team in the decision-making; build consensus rather than make decisions alone Ensure that delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional service Follow the daily operations schedule, with the ability to adjust to customer needs Load and offload building materials for deliveries as well as warehouse stock Properly use and maintain the equipment Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on simultaneously Lead by example, with first-hand knowledge of the area of expertise
Requirements:
Acceptable driving record and a current CDL license Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen 1 year of prior commercial driving experience Able to lift 80lb bundles and place them on different parts of the roof Good with heights up to 4 stories high Able to load 3-5 roofs per day Can work in both hot and cold environments depending on weather conditions. Knowledge of roofing, HVAC, and mechanical insulation
