Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Employee and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in materials handling, order fulfillment, and heavy equipment operation will shine. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse distribution, accurate order picking and packing, and maintaining high standards of quality control. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience in warehouse management and operations. Duties Operate heavy equipment forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Perform order picking and packing with precision using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and updating inventory records accordingly. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing materials, replenishing supplies, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Assist with warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Conduct regular safety checks on equipment like mechanical tools and heavy machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards. Support warehouse supervisor in inventory management, data entry into warehouse management systems, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Qualifications Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and order picking processes. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting on heavy equipment when necessary. Prior experience in warehouse environment involving stock management, packaging, quality control, and order fulfillment. Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while adhering to safety protocols; physical stamina is essential. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and quality assurance.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
