Pierce Flooring Wholesale Direct, a family-owned business with a century-long legacy, is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, from deliveries and vendor pick-ups to inventory control. This position offers the opportunity to learn about the flooring industry and our specialized software. A valid driver's license is required, and while forklift experience is beneficial, we are willing to provide training. This is a physical, fast paced and busy work environment. The schedule is alternating long and short weeks. The long week is Monday-Saturday 7:30- 4:00, and 9:00-5:00 on Saturday. The short week is 7:30-6:00 with a 3 day weekend. Responsibilities Unload delivery trucks and ensure timely and friendly service to customers and installers. Perform inventory control and inspect materials for damage. Verify that all merchandise loaded on trucks matches the product for each job. Tag and store incoming materials and label initial quantity of merchandise. Cut stock rolls and pad, and stage materials for installers. Load trucks for installers and monitor emails for store transfers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Qualifications Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Customer service oriented with strong organizational skills. Compensation 18.00-20.00/hour DOE.
