Job Summary We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to join The Pet Pantry team. Your main job will be delivering pet food and supplies to our customers throughout the Triangle and Triad areas. When you are not making deliveries, you will help in our Apex warehouse by loading and unloading products, stocking shelves, pulling customer orders and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This is an active, hands-on job. You must be comfortable driving for routes that sometimes exceed 200 miles, getting in and out of a delivery van throughout the day, and regularly lifting bags and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. We are looking for someone who is reliable, works hard, pays attention to details and takes pride in doing the job right. Responsibilities Deliver pet food and supplies to customers using a company van. Load the van before deliveries and unload products at customer homes. Make sure orders are correct and delivered to the right customer. Lift and carry bags and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Keep the delivery van clean and report any problems with the vehicle. Help receive, stock and organize products in the warehouse. Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery. Help keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized. Follow safe driving and workplace practices. Experience & Requirements A valid driver's license and good driving record are required. Must be comfortable driving a delivery van for several hours during the day. Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Delivery, warehouse or similar work experience is helpful, but not required. Must be dependable and able to show up for scheduled shifts on time. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
