Loading Dock Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Loading Dock Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, loading, and unloading of goods, supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse distribution, order picking, and heavy equipment operation, contributing to a safe and productive environment. Prior warehouse experience, along with knowledge of OSHA standards, will be highly valued. Duties Load shipments using pallet jacks and other heavy equipment Operate warehouse management systems and RF scanners for accurate order picking and inventory control Assist with order picking and materials handling to fulfill shipping requirements Ensure proper use of heavy equipment such in accordance with safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized dock area to promote safety and efficiency Follow OSHA guidelines and safety procedures during all operations Support warehouse supervisors in daily tasks related to shipping and inventory management Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred Hands-on experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with warehouse management systems are a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse operations Experience with order picker systems preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to operational excellence while ensuring safety at all times.
