Performance Food Group is seeking a Foodservice team member to support our fast-paced wholesale distribution operations. In this role you'll help pick, stage, and verify customer orders, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure products meet quality and food safety standards. You'll work closely with drivers, sales, and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules and resolve issues. Ideal candidates bring prior foodservice or warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work physically and efficiently in an on-site, team-driven environment. Responsibilities Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer food orders according to company standards Verify product quantities, codes, and quality to meet food safety and customer requirements Maintain organized storage areas and support inventory counts and cycle checks Follow all safety, sanitation, and equipment-use procedures in the warehouse Collaborate with drivers, sales, and operations to resolve order or delivery issues Use basic warehouse or inventory systems to update orders and stock movements Support loading and unloading of trucks while protecting product integrity Identify and report product, equipment, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly Required Skills Order processing Inventory management Warehouse operations Material handling equipment operation Basic data entry Food safety and handling Customer service Time management Safety compliance Team collaboration
