Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within our facility. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and manual methods Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and order pickers to move large or bulky items efficiently Maintain organized inventory records through proper inventory management practices Follow safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards during all warehouse activities Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage or injury Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution environment or similar setting is preferred Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory control Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and loaders safely and effectively Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy lifting Familiarity with RF scanners, basic math skills for inventory counts, and manual handling techniques Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse activities is a plus but not required Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and efficient warehouse workflow Join us in a role where your energy fuels our success! Pay:
$12.00 - $29.84 per hour
