Job Description

Warehouse & Shipping Specialist ProStaffing | Direct Hire |
Manufacturing Hours:
8am-4pm
Hickory, NC Hourly Pay:
$21-$23 ProStaffing is recruiting an experienced Warehouse & Shipping Specialist for a manufacturing operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working in a fast-paced environment, and taking ownership of accurate shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and warehouse organization. What You'll Be Doing 1. Prepare, pull, stage, and process daily customer shipments. 2. Verify the correct product and quantities prior to shipment. 3. Follow FIFO inventory practices when selecting and moving product. 4. Receive incoming materials and containers and accurately enter transactions into the ERP system. 5. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse. 6. Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. 7. Label products correctly and follow established procedures for inventory transactions. 8. Organize materials on racks, shelves, and designated warehouse locations. 9. Process return shipments and coordinate with customer service and quality when needed. 10. Communicate shipment concerns or delays to the appropriate team members 11. Assist with directing other warehouse employees when needed. Must Have 1. 2-4 years of warehouse experience. 2. Stand-up lift / stand-up forklift experience. 3. Boom lift experience. 4. Basic computer skills. 5. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Qualifications 1. High school diploma or GED. 2. Experience operating pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment is preferred. 3. Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing/distribution environment is a plus. 4. ERP or inventory system experience is helpful.
