Job Description

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing all outbound shipments, creating pick orders, creating movements, inventory control and communication between the transportation company, outside warehouses and sales departments.
Essential Functions:
  • Reads and understands BOL's, sales orders and general correspondences between departments, such as written instruction and emails
  • Creates PICK's and prepares documents for shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product has been requested for shipments
  • Prints all related BOL/paperwork for shipments out of the system, organizes and distributes
  • Update the transportation board as shipments are completed
  • Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety
  • Accurately records inbound small deliveries of materials or items received when necessary
  • Scans inventory items into system when necessary and assists in warehouse if necessary
  • Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Generates all shipping labels out of the system
  • Assists in warehouse cleanup if necessary
  • Updating item/warehouse journals for inventory corrections
  • Research inventory errors and shipment errors
  • Other duties as needed
Required Education & Experience:
  • High School education or equivalency required
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience required
  • Automotive environment experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong computer skills required
Working Conditions:
Office Environment & Warehouse Environment Physical Requirements:
Office/Administrative role in Warehouse Environment. Does require sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting, turning, full use of hands and ability to climb small ladder.

Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
