Duties Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Assist with order picking, packing, and staging to ensure timely shipment of products in accordance with customer specifications. Use RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other equipment to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Manage shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with carriers for delivery schedules. Conduct inventory management tasks such as stock counting, cycle counting, and reconciling discrepancies using inventory management software. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean workspace. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for inventory information or order status updates. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies related to international trade and trade documentation when applicable. Perform data entry tasks accurately to update order records, shipment details, and inventory logs. Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to safety standards and quality controls. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers; familiarity with warehouse experience is highly valued. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs. Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and logistics coordination. Basic math skills for counting items, measuring quantities, and verifying shipment weights or dimensions. Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping. Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for collaborating across teams. Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is a plus. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform manual tasks efficiently.
