Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Loader/Unloader to assist with moving, loading, and unloading materials, equipment, and deliveries. This entry-level position helps keep daily operations running smoothly by ensuring materials are handled carefully, placed in the correct locations, and ready for transport or use. The role is suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows safety procedures, and works well with a team. On-the-job training will be provided. Responsibilities Load and unload materials, supplies, tools, and deliveries from trucks and designated vehicles. Move items to assigned storage areas, staging zones, or work locations. Check delivered materials against basic counts or accompanying paperwork. Arrange and stack materials neatly to support safe storage and easy access. Assist with preparing items for pickup, transportation, or distribution. Inspect materials for visible damage and report missing or damaged items. Help maintain clear pathways and organized loading and unloading areas. Follow company procedures for safe lifting, carrying, and material handling. Work with coworkers and delivery personnel to coordinate the movement of materials. Keep work areas free of unnecessary debris and packaging materials. Assist with routine inventory counts and locating supplies when needed. Perform other general labor and material-handling duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail when counting, sorting, and handling materials. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move materials as required by the job. Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to daily operational needs. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with loading, unloading, construction materials, or general warehouse tasks is helpful but not required. Ability to work in an active, hands-on environment. Willingness to follow directions and use proper material-handling techniques.
Pay:
$21.80 - $22.70 per hour
