Job Description

Position Purpose The Certified Materials Handler is responsible for daily work production at on and off-site locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Attendance during the normal work hours is an essential function of the job to ensure work goals are met and customers are served Load and unload trucks daily Sort and rearrange freight for pickup Band, pack, and process products daily Pull labels and band containers and/or totes to secure skids for shipping. Inspect the inside of containers to ensure no parts are left in the container also there is no rips or mold in the container. Sand inside and edges of trays to ensure all burrs are removed. Lifts trays by hand and clean work area daily. Wash trays using high pressure equipment. Work at designated off-site client locations Able to work different shifts as scheduled Handle a variety of equipment Operate forklift Complete Bills of Lading Complete various maintenance tasks Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor Lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prefer High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED) Valid driver's license preferred. Forklift certification required. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work different shifts, weekends and overtime as required based on business need. Working Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a wet environment with varying temperatures hot/cold.
