Responsibilities Ability to operate Boats Assist with vessel docking and mooring operations, ensuring boats are securely tied and safely positioned. Handle petroleum products responsibly during fueling operations, adhering to safety procedures at all times. Conduct water transportation equipment inspections, cleaning, rigging, and minor repairs to maintain operational readiness. Support customer service efforts by providing friendly assistance to boaters and visitors, answering questions about marina services. Follow strict safety protocols during all activities including safe lifting practices and vessel handling procedures to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Ability to swim confidently in open water environments. Prior experience or knowledge in boat handling, vessel docking, mooring techniques, and rigging is highly desirable. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in water transportation equipment maintenance and crane operation. Knowledge of maritime safety procedures and safety protocol adherence is essential. Experience in handling petroleum products safely during fueling operations. Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently to keep marina facilities tidy and well-maintained.
