Pay Rate:
$16.40
Shift Premium & Attendance Bonus:
$18.02
Job Summary:
Move and store fabric as needed.
Essential Functions:
Perform the following duties according to
ISO 9001
work instructions and standards: Move and store fabric as it goes through the Finishing processes Maintain electronic records (LXE gun and computer) showing location of fabric Prepare fabric for shipment and/or storage. Properly identify fabric with appropriate labels and tickets, being sure all data matches. Return fabric to proper storage location. Keep work area clean. Maintain good housekeeping. Work scheduled overtime. Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety:
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers. Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards. Safety belt/harness when using PIT. Maintain 5 S standards.
Qualifications:
Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Be able to follow special instructions and directions. Forklift license is required for moving buggies and lifting fabric to storage tubes. Basic computer skills and use of LXE gun.
