Our Warehouse Associate receives and processes incoming and outgoing orders for materials to satisfy customer requests. The position is responsible for locating and selecting lumber products based on customer orders in accordance with the specifications and pick lists, then positioning material in the specified staging area. The Warehouse Associate will work directly with the Warehouse Supervisor as an assistant and support the day to day operations of the Warehouse.

Duties also include:

• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
