WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting and serving customers and other warehouse staff with customer requests in a distribution warehouse setting. This role involves loading and unloading products and materials, stocking and/or shelving products, helping with inventory and direct-to-customer supply and customer service. Additionally, this role will be responsible for transporting materials, helping keep the warehouse, surrounding grounds and yard in a neat and orderly condition.

DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provides customer service in the warehouse by assisting customers when they come in.
Safely load and unload trucks, trailers or other transport devices using equipment like forklifts; manage the proper storage of items.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Receive, ship, store, stock/shelve, and/or move materials within the warehouse, loading area or storage area while maintaining accurate records.
Perform supply deliveries using truck and/or trailer to deliver materials.
Assists with product information and customer service in the warehouse. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse, showroom, surrounding grounds, and yard.
Prepares trucks for supply delivery and performs additional warehouse or delivery related duties as necessary or assigned. Advocate for Tenet's Mission, Vision, Values and the Employee Operating Code.
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Self-motivated, driven, with a strong work ethic and high dependability.
Excellent customer service skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with customers and team members.
Skilled at problem-solving and maintaining organized, efficient work habits.
Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative approach to work.
Able to stay informed about product details and updates.
WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
One year of driving experience.
Medical DOT card.
Forklift certification or the ability to become certified (training provided by employer).
One year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
Familiarity with the construction industry preferred. TRAVEL
REQUIREMENTS:
Travel to project sites, or other Tenet locations as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentials functions of this job. Movement within the office or project site is required.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
