Job Description
Knife River is seeking a Rail Material Handler to safely load, unload, and move construction aggregates and materials in a rail yard environment. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and forklifts, spot and secure railcars, and ensure accurate material counts and documentation. You'll perform routine equipment inspections, follow all safety and environmental procedures, and support yard organization. This position works closely with plant and logistics teams to keep projects supplied on time, offering hands-on experience, training, and career growth in a safety-focused, team-oriented company.
