Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dockworker / Cylinder Filler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the safe handling of cylinders and other warehouse inventory. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and safety are paramount. Duties Load and unload cargo using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols Fill cylinders accurately with gases or liquids, ensuring proper labeling and documentation Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to move large or heavy items within the warehouse or loading area Conduct inventory management tasks including order picking, stock counting, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents against orders and preparing items for dispatch Use RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking to ensure accuracy in warehouse operations Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and maintain a safe work environment Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments preferred Hands-on experience with order picker, forklift, clamp truck, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment operation required Knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling processes Experience with heavy equipment operation such as cranes is advantageous Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols consistently in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for measurements, weight calculations, and inventory counts necessary Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required Join us in a role where your energy fuels our success! Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
