General Labor Workers Job Description Join our team to assemble custom wall trusses or roof and floor trusses. You'll have the opportunity to read and interpret blueprints, and use hand tools and tape measures to build trusses and walls. This role involves teamwork and repetitive tasks, requiring you to climb on and off tables and work in various physical positions. Responsibilities Assemble custom wall, roof, or floor trusses. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Climb on and off tables to complete tasks. Use hand tools and tape measures effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure project success. Perform repetitive tasks, constructing the same truss or wall multiple times before switching. Bend, stoop, squat, and reach at odd angles as required. Essential Skills Ability to read a tape measure. Good attendance verified by references. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months experience with hand tools. 6+ months experience in construction, general labor, or physically demanding environments. Work Environment Work in a warehouse-style building that is non-climate controlled and serves as an indoor lumber yard. Each worker will have a specific workstation, with team sizes ranging from 2-5 people per line and up to 60 people per shift. The dress code is casual, with jeans or shorts, t-shirts, and steel-toe footwear required. Shifts are Monday through Thursday, with the option of a 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule or a 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM schedule. Bring your own hammer or purchase one on-site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waverly, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
