Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a General Warehouse Shop Associate and become a vital part of our metals distribution operations! . Tasks will vary daily and cross training will provide opportunities for advancement into our Saw/Waterjet/Shear/Plasma departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, equipment/machine operation, and inventory control while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. We will consider flexible, part-time hours as well.

HOURS:

Monday thru Friday 8:30 - 5:00 pm Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, to load, unload, and move materials. Training will be provided. Assist with inventory management by , picking orders, packing shipments, and conducting regular stock returns. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols during all tasks. Perform manual handling tasks involving some heavy lifting and materials transfer while following proper techniques to prevent injury. Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, order picking & packing, load & unload activities, and materials handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements using a tape measure but experience using more precise instruments is a plus.
