Job Purpose Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Nature of Duties/Responsib i lities Receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt Unloading packages from incoming trucks Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged Verify packages according to order invoices(quantity, quality, etc.) Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stands, walks, and bends for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., and stand for a regular 8-hour work shift. Education and Experience Excellent communication skills—must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, and comfortably read/understand instructions. Strong reliability and a history of good attendance. The ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
