Summar y : This position works within the warehouse and as a driver. Warehouse Duties :
Service customers at the pick-up area and read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic Prepare parcels for UPS Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness Conduct proper safety checks on the forklift daily Adhere to all safety protocols in warehouse and office Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Driver Duties:
Check out the load and assemble the bill according to the trip order, noting discrepancies and maintaining required records and logs Valid Class B Commercial Driver's license (CDL) required Comply with applicable CDL regulations in MA, CT, NY and NH Perform pre-trip inspections and complete logs Safely maneuver and control vehicles under various conditionsRequirements:
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, must be at least Class B CDL Customer service skills Forklift experience Reliability and safety awareness English communication skills Prior warehouse and driving experienceWork Environment:
Warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure. Uses standard office and warehouse equipment.Physical Demands:
Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and lifting. Frequently lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally over 100 lbs w/ assistance.Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.Travel:
