POSITION SUMMARY

The Material Handler is responsible for timely movement and organization of parts in the fulfillment center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive parts from Receiving Team and stow in a timely manner Stow parts accurately in designated location Maintain accurate inventory within inventory control software Work with Material Handler Lead in organization/re-organization of parts storage Follow the Wave Picking method for scanning and picking parts efficiently Maintain tidiness and organization of warehouse Abide by all safety guidelines without exception Perform other duties as assigned

NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPENTENCIES

Strong attention to detail, specifically with part number delineation Strong organizational skills Able to read, write, decipher, and communicate clearly in English Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Outlook, Teams (video calls and chat), Excel and Word Aptitude for learning and using inventory maintenance software

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working in a warehouse environment Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations Forklift certification is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to complete various activities in a warehouse environment that may require hours of lifting, standing, climbing, and carrying Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Use carts, dollies, motorized vehicles, and other gear to move items around
