Shop Technician - Receiving / Warehouse

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Shop Receiving / Warehouse Worker is responsible for warehouse/yard organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows. They ensure a smooth and efficient operational flow of materials and equipment. They utilize company's computer system to accurately receive materials and equipment and verify to Purchase Order system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and label material deliveries to be staged in appropriate areas Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse, yard, building grounds and shop inventory Pick up parts and equipment from suppliers & deliver parts to jobs as necessary Mobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobs Ability to drive truck and trailers to off-site locations Accurately confirm materials and equipment to Purchase Orders and Workorders Performs additional duties and responsibilities to help facilitate company operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

General Computer skills and experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to lift 50+ pounds Preferred Qualifications CDL (class A preferred) Forklift experience Experience using a Shipping/Receiving software Basic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skills General mechanical abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Verbal & written communication skills Attention to detail and organization

Salary Range:
