This position is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving materials, preparing and shipping customer orders, organizing and storing inventory, supporting material movement for production, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A major focus of this role is inventory accuracy and warehouse organization . The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and storage locations, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and well-organized warehouse. Responsibilities Receive incoming raw materials, packaging, supplies, and other deliveries. Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation. Accurately identify and record item numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and storage locations . Properly label, organize, stage, and store inventory. Prepare, pack, palletize, and stage outgoing customer orders. Verify outgoing shipments for correct products and quantities prior to shipment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Pick and stage raw materials and packaging needed for production. Return unused materials to their proper warehouse locations after production. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory transactions in the company's inventory/ERP system. Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories. Research and report inventory discrepancies. Help maintain FIFO and lot traceability where required. Maintain clearly identified and organized warehouse locations. Keep aisles, work areas, loading areas, and storage locations clean and free of unnecessary materials. Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as authorized. Follow company safety procedures and required PPE. Communicate inventory shortages, damaged materials, receiving issues, or shipping problems to management. Work with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, and Operations to ensure materials are available when needed. Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or ERP/inventory systems is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and follow item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and written instructions. Comfortable using computers and learning inventory software. Ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management. Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team. Forklift experience preferred; training may be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to work in an active warehouse/manufacturing environment.
