The Role This is a practical, hands-on role combining warehouse work, driving and event support. You'll help make sure equipment is received, checked, prepared and ready to go, then support deliveries, collections and events when required. You'll spend much of your time in the warehouse, but the role also involves driving company vehicles and working at client sites and venues. You'll handle technology equipment carefully, keep stock records accurate and help resolve problems when something is missing, damaged or doesn't work as expected. You'll work closely with the local operations team and, at times, colleagues in other countries. Some days will be focused on warehouse preparation and stock; others may involve deliveries, collections or onsite event work. This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes care with equipment and is comfortable getting involved wherever the operation needs support. What you'll be doing….. Receive, inspect, test, tag, store, pick, pack and dispatch event technology and process returned equipment. Prepare equipment and orders so they are complete, accurate and ready for delivery or an event. Load, secure and transport equipment safely for local deliveries and collections. Drive company vehicles safely and keep to agreed delivery schedules, reporting delays or incidents promptly. Carry out stock takes and cycle counts, investigate differences and report missing or damaged equipment. Keep the warehouse organised, clean, labelled and safe, following agreed procedures. Handle laptops, tablets, printers, displays and other technical equipment carefully throughout the warehouse and delivery process. Carry out basic testing, configuration and troubleshooting of equipment, escalating technical issues when needed. Support onsite event work when required, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting and teardown. Work directly with clients, venues and partners during deliveries and events, providing a professional and helpful service. Keep accurate records using warehouse, inventory or handheld systems and follow delivery and client sign-off procedures. Work flexibly with the wider team when priorities change or several projects need to be prepared at the same time. What matters in this role ….. Be reliable and organised, particularly when several orders or deadlines are being managed at once. Take care with equipment, stock records and paperwork, and notice when something does not look right. Stay calm when plans change, deliveries are delayed or an issue needs sorting quickly. Be willing to get involved with practical work rather than waiting for someone else to deal with it. Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues, clients, venues and suppliers. Take responsibility for seeing tasks through and ask for help when something needs escalating. Experience we are looking for ….. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, delivery driving, event support or similar operational role. A full New Jersey driving licence and a safe driving record. Experience of receiving, picking, packing, dispatching or tracking stock and equipment. Experience handling equipment carefully during loading, transport or delivery. Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices, inventory systems or similar tracking tools. An understanding of safe manual handling and workplace safety. Experience in an event, technology rental or similar environment would be helpful, but is not essential. Additional warehouse, logistics or health and safety qualifications would be advantageous. You'll probably do well here if you ….. Like practical, hands-on work and don't mind getting involved with whatever needs doing. Stay organised when several things are happening at once. Are comfortable working between the warehouse, vehicle and client sites. Can adapt when delivery times, event requirements or priorities change. Prefer solving a problem and moving things forward rather than passing it on. Are keen to learn more about technology and develop your skills over time Additional Information ….. This is a full-time, permanent role based New Jersey, following successful probation. The role involves regular manual handling and moving technical equipment. Local driving, deliveries and collections form part of the role. Some onsite event work, travel and flexibility around working hours may be required, particularly during busy event periods. The role provides the opportunity to build experience across warehouse operations, logistics, technology handling and live event support.
