Job Description

Job Overview Anta Electric, a growing, woman owned contract manufacturing company with locations in Cedar Knolls, NJ and Clifton Park, NY, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Kitter for our Cedar Knolls location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pulls material from Warehouse shelves utilizing work order pick lists provided by Planning. Releases works orders and all material to the Production floor as directed.
  • Correctly count and label parts according to the work order pick list to create a kit
  • Record quantities of all parts counted and put into the kit in the appropriate location on the pick list
  • Record the location of the kit on the pick list as well as in Infor
  • Work closely with Production to ensure proper and efficient material flow
  • Count and restock material in the proper locations after job completion
  • Assist Shipping or Production with packaging as required to meet customer commitments
  • Assist Receiving with receipt of goods both physically and within Infor
  • Breakdown receipts into appropriate kit quantities and place in the correct kits, updating the pick list as applicable
  • Support Production with miscellaneous stock requests utilizing and properly completing the Miscellaneous Stock Issue Form, which is then provided to Planning in a timely manner
  • Report and work closely with Purchasing/Planning to resolve any inventory variances.

Materials Manager Requirements:
  • High School diploma
  • 1+ years in a Warehousing/Manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience with Infor preferred but not required
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
