In this vital role, you will support the assembly line, operate power tools and forklifts, and assist with various factory tasks to ensure smooth operations. Operate forklifts to move materials safely within the manufacturing facility and warehouse areas Assist with assembly line tasks, including handling components and assembling parts using hand tools and power tools Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment Use mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections, identify issues, and support repairs as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency Load, unload, and stock raw materials, supplies, and finished products with precision Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure working environment Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and logistics processes Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks consistently throughout shifts Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures at all times Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment This role is paid and offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to grow their skills in manufacturing while contributing to a collaborative team.
