Job Description
Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of food products across dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments. This role requires the proper operation of warehouse equipment and effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure inbound deliveries are accurately received, stored, rotated, and replenished. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, product quality, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety while working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Duties Safely handle and transport food products within dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments. Operate warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently. Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately track, locate, and manage inventory. Properly rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to maintain product freshness and minimize waste. Replenish inventory and ensure products are available in designated storage and picking locations. Maintain accurate inventory counts by reporting discrepancies, damaged products, or quality concerns. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Work efficiently in varying temperature-controlled environments while meeting productivity and accuracy standards. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by management. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, food service, or food handling environment preferred. Experience working in refrigerated, freezer, or temperature-controlled environments is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and product rotation. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar inventory management software preferred. Previous experience operating warehouse equipment or machinery preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain inventory accuracy. Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing approximately 50-80 pounds , using proper lifting techniques and safety procedures. Ability to work for extended periods while standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per weekBenefits:
