Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated Trailer Loaders specializing in Floor Loading Furniture to join our logistics team. This role involves efficiently loading furniture items onto trailers with precision and care, ensuring safe handling and secure transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Position:
Trailer Loader (Floor Loading Furniture)
Job Duties:
Hand-loading furniture units into trailers. Furniture ranges from 50 lbs and up, so candidates must be able to lift and move heavy items safely.
Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for 8 hours or longer. Bilingual associates if possible, 1 year of warehouse experience
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday (6-day operation), 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Starting Pay:
$16.50 per hour.
Anticipated Start Date:
August 17, 2026. Duties Safely load furniture items onto trailers using manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines during all loading activities, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation. Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and material handling equipment. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other heavy machinery. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and equipment use. Experience working with RF scanners and basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy. Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is a plus but not required. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail. Candidates with a background in warehouse distribution or logistics who are committed to safety and efficiency will find this role rewarding.
