SaddlebrookMAJOR FUNCTIONS
Drive CFA's Box truck or van to pick up food donations, transport and deliver food to clients, sort and pack foods and assist in warehouse and/or pantry as required. Assist with daily operations of the warehouse/pantry to ensure inventory is properly received, processed, organized and recorded. Prepare and distribute product. Organize pallets, boxes, perishable and miscellaneous items for distribution and assist in getting the product to sites and clients. Maintain protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment. Operate equipment, as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As delivery driver: Drives truck or van to pick up and deliver food or other items as scheduled by Director of Operations. Sorts food donations and helps off-load food delivered to/from the warehouse and other locations. Keeps warehouse and truck/van clean and organized. Assists in preparation of food packages as required. Required to attend and work at least two CFA events per year, one of which must include the Run/Walk event.As warehouse worker:
Off-load food donations. Sort and pack food boxes and perishable and other items for distribution. Pull daily delivery reports and close them out in the computer system. Place product into designated vehicles. Handle general maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Report damages to product, materials, and equipment to the manager. Maintain food donation records and complete reports as required. Inventory food and other warehouse items Operate equipment, as assigned.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
May assist with special food donation events as needed. Provide warehouse and delivery coverage to other sites as needed. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Operations Director and/or Warehouse Supervisor.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED Proficient computer skills Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation Must be able to complete NJMVC medical exam and self-certification to obtain required Commercial Driver's License. Clean driving record Knowledge of loading/unloading freight or packaged goods Must be passionate about the organization's mission and its impact on the community.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
