Job Description
Position Summary We are looking for an Production Associate to join the 2G team. This role supports warehouse operations through shipping and receiving, sorting commodities, categorizing and packing assets while following health and safety standards. You will assist technicians, support smooth workflow, and grow your understanding of the sortation and production process. We're seeking someone comfortable with technology who is eager to learn. Training is provided, and the ideal candidate can quickly adapt to new systems and is interested in developing skills in basic computer troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Material Handling Accurately unload and load trucks using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Identifies and sorts different electronic materials in assigned boxes while strictly adhering to classification of commodities into different grades to maximize production output. Identifies and sort different assets to material categories and perform a unit count on the separated assets by category Capturing make, model, and serial number of equipment Removal of asset tag labels from equipment Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and contents against packing slips and purchase orders. Generate and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, manifests, and courier paperwork. Qualifications Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution centers is a plus Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required Ability to use RF scanners for order picking, packing, and inventory management accurately Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes Basic math skills for counting inventory and verifying shipments accurately Comfortable operating equipment such as pallet jacks and load/unload machinery Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced environment The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity while contributing to the overall success of the team.
