General Labor Job Description A General Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, landscaping, or other work environments. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, maintaining clean and safe work areas, assisting skilled workers, and following all company safety procedures. General Laborers may also assemble products, move inventory, package materials, and complete other duties as assigned. We are looking for candidates that are able to travel from las cruces to alamogordo.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment. Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and job sites. Assist team members with production, construction, or warehouse tasks. Follow safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Inspect materials and report damaged equipment or safety concerns. Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting quality standards. Lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed. Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Previous labor, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment.
