Monday - Friday (5:00 am to 1:30 pm + OT as needed) Overview We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Janitorial Associate to keep our facility clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse areas are tidy, sanitized, and organized to support smooth operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys physical work, and understands the importance of safety and cleanliness in a busy warehouse environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks across the warehouse including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a clean environment. Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper procedures for storage, usage, and disposal. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move supplies or equipment safely around the facility. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any safety hazards or repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and general warehouse safety practices. Contribute to sanitation efforts by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring compliance with health standards. Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care (including buffing), and sanitation procedures. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow chemical handling safety procedures. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining a safe and clean environment. Good communication skills for effective teamwork and safety protocol adherence. Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums is a plus.
