We're seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Support role to help keep our materials, tools, equipment, and installation teams organized and ready to go. What Success Looks Like The purpose of this role is simple: Our installation teams have the right materials, tools, and equipment where they need them, when they need them and our warehouse systems accurately reflect where everything is. Along with learning valuable in-field construction skills. You'll become the bridge between the warehouse, office, and field. When you're doing this role well, materials don't go missing, tools are maintained and ready for use, inventory information is accurate, deliveries are handled safely and efficiently, and other team members don't have to stop higher-value work to solve preventable warehouse problems. What You'll Do Warehouse & Material Logistics Receive incoming material and coordinate with the office to ensure it is properly documented and stored. Organize, load, unload, and move flooring materials, tools, and equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Prepare materials, tools, and equipment needed for upcoming installation projects. Maintain accurate inventory and tool locations using Flooring Authority's apps and systems. Follow warehouse organizational systems and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Help keep the warehouse clean, safe, organized, and ready for the team. Tools, Equipment & Maintenance Perform routine inspections of tools, vehicles, and equipment. Complete basic preventative maintenance, including checking fluids, oil, grease, cleanliness, and general condition. Clean and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Identify equipment or tools needing repair and help research parts and solutions. Help keep repair parts and maintenance supplies organized and available. Safely operate appropriate hand and power tools. Delivery - logistics (working independently) Deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment from job sites as needed. Safely load and unload materials and equipment. Make sure deliveries are accurate, organized, and placed appropriately at the job site. Provide on-site logistical support to installation teams when needed. Follow company, traffic, job-site, and equipment safety requirements at all times. Field Support - Flooring Installation/Preparation -Support with installation with the following by working independently to: Clean, scrape, and prepare substrate to receive flooring Help mix and apply primers, patching compounds, and adhesives to substrates (which will include being on-knees for a period for proper trowel application) Installation of wall base and finishing trims Clean out debris from project site Removing old flooring and heavy floor preparation (operation of HEPA Vacuum, grinding equipment, ride-on tear out machine). Final cleaning of newly installed flooring and applying floor protection materials when required Staging material at location for install Gathering and inventorying materials through the project Basic knowledge of installation of soft and resilient floor finishes You'll Probably Love This Role If You...
