Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse / Shipping Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsible for pulling products to fulfill sales orders, maintaining accurate finished goods and inventory records, monitoring inventory levels to support production and customer requirements, and providing backup support to other associates as needed. Also performs general maintenance and housekeeping duties to support daily operations. Duties Pick inventory items from workorders and distribute them to appropriate production floor department. Receive finished goods into stock from completed workorders. High attention to detail and accuracy when keypunching transactions. Monitor stock levels of shipping supplies and materials, investigate discrepancies and perform cycle counts as needed. Provide Back-up for the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, assisting with inventory transactions, documentation and related duties as required. Maintenance duties to include cleaning, organizing, machine maintenance, light snow removal, etc. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in accordance with company standards and safety requirements. Follows schedules, procedures and housekeeping practices including removing garbage and cardboard bins from the building as scheduled utilizing the fork truck in a safe manner Follow safety procedures Pack, seal and label shipments according to carrier and customer specifications and generate all required documentation (bill of ladings and commercial invoices) Other duties as assigned Desired Skills Operate UPS, and Fed Ex equipment/software. File all records of outgoing shipments. Prepare bill of ladings, labels, and other documents associated with shipments. Working knowledge of Electronic Inventory Management Systems is a plus. Working knowledge of ERP program is a plus. Minimum Competencies Required High school education or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics or a related administrative role. Forklift certification and experience using pallet jack is preferred. Essential Job Functions High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. Operate computer and keyboard. Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification and experience using pallet jack is preferred.

Pay:

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
