Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace Description Warehouse - Shipping Coordinator Fluid Power Sales manufactures and distributes hydraulic and pneumatic valves, components, manifolds, power units, electronic control panels, wiring harnesses, and other related items. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for packaging and shipping these items for delivery to our customers. Position Responsibilities Package goods for shipment. Prepare and print packing slips and bills of lading. Palletize and wrap/strap loads for truck shipment. Match up customer order detail with shipment labeling to ensure high accuracy. Maintain a neat and organized work area. Coordinate with warehouse, inside sales, and assembly operations to ensure customer orders are shipped on time. Apply TPS and continuous improvement principles to daily work. Position Requirements Basic computer skills. Able to work 40 hours/week, mostly standing. Able to lift 40 lbs. un-assisted. Able to work un-supervised. Familiarity with forklift operation, with current operator certification and/or willingness to achieve certification. Desired Characteristics Prior experience in a warehouse, advanced knowledge of LTL shipping procedures. Motivated team-player.
