Blasdell, New York Reports to: Warehouse Manager Minimum job requirements:- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Must be a licensed forklift operator with a valid operator license
- Able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs without assistance

Job Summary:
The warehouse worker is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt of products received into the building. The warehouse worker will unload shipments of products and check their contents to ensure they match the orders placed for those products. Any discrepancies are reported to management. Once that process is completed, products are put in their designated location in the warehouse. The position requires the picking of products from locations in the correct quantity and delivering it to a packing and shipping station. Individuals in this role must be extremely detail oriented and possess basic math skills. It is also expected that the warehouse worker has adequate physical strength to successfully execute the work associated with the position. The scheduled work week is Monday through Friday. The hours of work will be 7:00am to 3:30pm. This is an in-person position, working in our Blasdell facility. This position does not require travel.Duties and Responsibilities:
While the day-to-day duties of the warehouse worker are determined by the employer, there are many core tasks associated with the role.These include:
- Operate a lift truck, Orderpicker and electric walkie; must have a valid operators license or possess the skills to be certified
- Receiving of product; documenting quantities and product received
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Replenishment and bin transfers
- Inventory control and cycle counting Qualifications and requirements: The warehouse worker should have a passion for organization.
Skills include the following:
- Communication skills: the warehouse worker will interact with many people; it's important to be an effective, detailed communicator for activities to run smoothly. Fluency in English is expected.
- Attention to detail: Ability to work in a fast-paced environments while paying close attention to shipment details, record maintenance, invoice tracking, and order discrepancies.
- Problem-solving skills: the warehouse worker are natural problem-solvers, as shipments may have issues that result in the requirement to research, escalate, and resolve issues effectively.
- Experience using transaction software, shipping management software, and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Team players: the warehouse worker will interact with others on a regular basis; they are required to be team players to allow the organization to succeed.
