Overview We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our dynamic warehouse team for both first shift and overnight shift operations. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your efforts will ensure smooth inventory flow, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to safety standards. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual handling techniques. Operate heavy equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse or shipping areas. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and inventory management systems. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and organizing materials for dispatch. Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Support warehouse operations by performing manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy loads and stacking pallets securely. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall efficiency. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or materials handling is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation including forklift, clamp truck, pallet jack, and crane. Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse operations. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required. Reliable attendance with the ability to work flexible hours for first shift or overnight schedules.
